Donations
We are paid fairly well in tech. I give back a small portion of my income to my favorite NGOs - organizations full of people dedicating their days to charitable work we don't want to do. These are the ones I donate monthly to. I hope you can find one in this list that inspires you to start or increase your contribution.

| Humanitarian | Doctors Without Borders | Doctors can make a lot of money if they want to but these ones decide to save the people in need instead. One of the few organizations that prioritize medical independence over government grants. |
| Humanitarian | Lebanese Red Cross | The country has been living through a forever-crisis: the 2019 financial crisis, the 2020 port explosion then the Covid crisis, the 2022-2025 war. This is the most reliable and transparent organization in Lebanon to donate to. |
| Humanitarian | Restos du Coeur | Maybe the most scrutinized NGO in France. Provides a social safety net for those in need in the country. |
| Environment | Rainforest Trust | They focus on land acquisition for high efficiency with low overhead. |
| Corruption | Anticor | Some of the most courageous people in France, fighting public corruption despite government pressure. They are responsible for the first-ever conviction of a former French President (Chirac case, 2011) for embezzling public funds. |
| Tech | Quadrature du Net | Hardline defenders of privacy in the EU. They led in 2021 the GDPR charge that resulted in a €746 million fine —at the time, the largest in history—for non-consensual advertising targeting. |

| Tech | Internet Archive | A Library of Alexandria that's actually real. They are currently fighting for their legal life. |
